Key Moments in ANECT´s History
Company was established in 1993. Originally, we employed about twenty IT specialists. Since the very beginning, we have specialized in providing communication systems and developing multiprotocol networks (mostly based on Cisco Systems products and technologies) for medium-sized and large customers.
In 1996 ANECT Ltd. changed into ANECT a.s. (a joint-stock company). In summer of 1996 we also expanded to Prague and opened a new office there, as the headquarters of many of our clients are located in the capital city.
In 1997 ANECT a.s. established a subsidiary company ANECT Ltd. in Bratislava, Slovakia (transformed into a joint-stock company in 2000).
In 2006 ANECT a.s. became a Cisco TelePresence Partner for Central and Eastern Europe. Despite tough competition with a number of international corporations interested in this type of partnership, a relatively small Czech-owned company succeeded and became a partner of this new technology solution.
Gaining a majority interest in iCom Vision Company guaranteed ANECT a.s. a strategic position among providers of services that are based on the Internet and mobile communication technologies.
