Board of Trustess

 

Ing. Jiří Štěpánek, Chairman

Jiří Štěpánek was born in 1964. He graduated from the Czech Technical University in Prague, Faculty of Electrical Engineering where he had studied in the Telecommunication Technologies Program.

In his career he has worked mainly for IT companies. He was a member of our Board of Directors from 2002 to 2003. At the moment he is a member of ANECT Board of Trustees. 

Ing. Dušan Korunka, Member of Board

Dušan Korunka was born in 1975. He graduated from the University of Economics, Prague where he had studied the International Trade Program. While at university he also participated in the Exchange Program with Staffordshire University (UK) and the University of Antwerp (Belgium). 

After university graduation, Dušan Korunka worked in the Prague office of Foresight (PR and Marketing Department) for a short time. Then he shifted to the IT sector, focusing first on business intelligence in the ISI Emerging Markets corporation (where he worked as the Customer Service Manager and the Product Manager for Czech Republic and Slovakia). In 2002, he joined the team of Wholesale and Operators Business of Czech Telecom where he later became the Head of Product Managers for local and international data services. He has worked in ANECT since 2005. He´s held several positions within the company: e.g. Project Manager, Operations Manager, Program Manager. Today he is a member of the Board of Trustees and he is in charge of the team realizing development projects and maintenance services for the Czech Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs.   

Dušan Korunka is fluent in English and very good at German. He spends most of his free time with his family, and tries to stay fit through regular exercise and healthy lifestyle. He also likes reading.

Ondřej Valenta, Member of Board

Ondřej Valenta was born in 1973. He studied in the US, and graduated from the Finance Program at the University of Colorado, Bolder.

His professional career started in 1998 when he joined the investment bank Salomon Brothers in New York and worked there as a financial analyst for two years. When Salomon Brothers became a part of the global financial corporation Citigroup in 2000, Ondřej Valenta held various positions in the London Citigroup division for four years, and then spent almost a year at Nikko Citigroup in Tokio. Since 2007, he has been the Director of Finance and Member of Board at Sekyra Group in Prague, one of the leading developers in the Czech real estate market.

Ondřej Valenta is fluent in English. He is also passionate about sports – he is the youngest winner of the prestigious skiing contest “Jizerská 50” ever (he won in 1993), and as a member of the 1994 Winter Olympics Team, he is still very close to all winter and summer sports (particularly endurance sports). He is an amateur musician (plays the guitar and drums), and he also has a pilot license for helicopters Robinson 22 and Robinson 44.
