The Czech company ANECT a.s. became the Technology Partner of the 11th Cisco Expo, one of the largest conferences in the Czech Republic on information and communication technologies. This year´s program includes 28 expert talks and 5 all-day seminars called techtorials. The conference is held on 14 and 15 April 2010 and the leading topics this time are data centers, virtualization and cloud services.
„One of today´s most visible trends is a rapid growth of business data volumes, which pushes up the requirements for data center capacities and performance. Also the number of companies which use hosting or cloud services for data archiving purposes is increasing. That is why one of our key goals now is to provide our customers with enough space for further data archiving and to make sure this data is always secure and easily available no matter where it is archived," says Vítězslav Mačuda, ANECT Business Manager.
ANECT, the technology partner of Cisco Expo 2010 in security issues, will be represented by Dušan Karásek, who is going to give a talk on modern data centers in public service institutions. He is going to present the project of step-by-step development of a data center group at the Czech Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, which started as a single data center and later grew into a robust system enabling to centralize the ministry agenda which uses current trends and technologies, such as content switching, GLB, DWDM, VSS and Unified I/O.
The conference participants will learn about latest innovations and trends in areas such as communication and collaboration between IP network users, network security, video transmission, technologies for service providers and general networking technologies. A number of interesting integrated solutions will be presented, and the program will also zoom in on IPv6 protocol.
Each of the participants can easily adjust the conference program and attend the sections that they find most interesting. They can choose any of the first-day talks, and attend any of the five techtorials on the following day. In addition to that, they can take a look at various modern technologies presented at the Cisco Expo partners´ booths. The conference participants can also become acquainted with these technologies on the second day during informal breakfast.
