Rapid increase in sales shows growing interest in security solutions
At the annual Check Point Software Technologies Partners Conference, this year held in Budapest, Hungary, ANECT a.s. became the "Check Point Reseller of The Year 2009 in Eastern Europe". Compared to 2008, ANECT´s new business increased by 253 percent, in new products even by 289 percent.
"Higher sales of Check Point security solutions clearly demonstrate that organizations are well aware of increasing IT security and sensitive data protection risks, and that they do their best to minimize those risks by implementing suitable tools," said Michal Seidl, ANECT Operations Director.
ANECT was awarded the "Check Point Reseller of The Year 2009 in Eastern Europe" because of its excellent 2009 sales results in the commercial sector and government institutions. ANECT is also the largest reseller in the CZR region (covers the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Monte Negro and Albania).
"We believe that the award to ANECT will be very positive for the whole region of Eastern Europe and it will boost its further growth this year," said Miloslav Lujka, Check Point Channel Manager Czech Republic.
