ANECT Presented New Solution for ICT Documentation and Administration
ANECT has presented their new Electronic Operations Documentation (Elektronická provozní dokumentace – ePD), a solution that helps you centralize and visualize your company ICT environment and assets. With this application you do not only see all the registered items, but also every piece of technical, maintenance and logistic information related to it. The ePD output thus becomes a great help in all of your documentation, planning and controlling activities. It helps you with your capacity planning, and provides lucid reports and visual maps with detailed information on each of your ICT features and all the links between them.
"Organizations in both the public and commercial sector need documentation describing their ICT systems to be easily accessible, complex and up-to-date. In other words, they need clear & unambiguous information about their assets, which will be linked to their operations data. The ePD application will be thus highly beneficial especially for companies and organizations that often have to deal with complex ICT changes or large-scale device migrations. ANECT´s Electronic Operations Documentation (ePD) is a solution with which you can easily document all of your tangible and intangible assets, link them to both property and technical information related to it, and share everything in a secure way via a web browser.
With ePD you will be also able to monitor the device life cycle – from the moment it is purchased, through the device implementation, maintenance and migration, until the item is finally deleted from the documentation. At any given moment you will thus have a detailed and accurate map and description of your ICT environment, which you can use for your ICT investment planning, etc. The ePD application was designed and tuned in order to support easy integration of various data from a number of resources, including design plans and maps.
"Integrating 'automated updates' of technical and sales data into the whole system will largely increase accuracy of information about individual devices and decrease the number of human errors. In addition to that, users will definitely appreciate fewer internal resources needed for ICT data gathering and updates," said Vítězslav Mačuda.
The ePD application provides a simple, user-friendly web interface with functionalities for data entering, presentation and analysis that are very easy to find and work with. This significantly increases the number users who can now generate ePD data, use them and take care of them.
